ha bloody ha, and richly deserved. In an era where team ethic and playing rigidly to a style of play that suits your team is of the utmost importance England decide to play like a bad version of Pellegrini and think we can get away with it. You take off the only attacking threat in Sterling and we're useless going forward until Rashford comes on to do the same thing. Kane and Sturridge kept on despite being crap.
Changes that need to be made:
1) Greg Dyke must be replaced, his plan has failed and England need to install a world class DoF and youth development manager to oversee the player development and selection.
2) Hodgson and the West Brom web needs to be forced out. The under-hand agent sphere along with Woy needs outing, and a new progressive manager working with a DoF to pick a squad based on a clearly defined tactical plan and philosophy needs to be implemented straight away. Coaches like Conte have shown in this tournament the difference having a tactically astute coach has on the side. I would put Unai Emery on the list, Rudi Garcia is another option alongside maybe Martinez who could at least try and implement a style on which we can build, there aren't many options but we need someone who will buy into and implement a style on which we build a team.

Surely Rooney has to be done now? He is fucking useless at the best of times, but put him in a pressure situation for England and he becomes a pub player. He fails to control the ball more often than any professional footballer I can recall, then when he does get it "under his spell" he misplaces 5 yard passes and then just hoofs diagonals really hard, thigh high at people who are marked.
Beyond shit, the lot of them. Take away the foreign players from the premier league and it would be like this every week, the English players need the foreign ones to give them the structure and let them just try and have individual moments. Put too many of them together and it becomes painfully obvious how slow of thought they are, how poor their movement is and how often they struggle with the basics of football

Wales have gone further than England in this competition. Never Mind I am sure pep will cheer us all up
And they've been shit - worst team still left in it by a mile.
And yet they managed to win 3 games whilst being shit. And we managed to draw 2 and scrape one being average

Goal ratings say that Hart has to take some blame for the first one and full for the second one LOL. What the fuck does he do about the first one. Oh it also says Rooney never stopped trying but was stationed too deep to affect things.
