Like I said Operation scapegoat. Gotta get that excuse in early in case Iceland beat us. Never mind the other 10 players in the team all the focus is on him.
 
Hodgson has handled Sterling very well this tournament imo. Went in to the tournament in poor form with questions as to whether he even deserved a call up. Backed him and started him, and now he's backed him again. Going to be immense pressure on him tonight but it's time for Sterling to step up to the plate. Just hope he doesn't try too hard.
 
I think the message is that unless Sterling wins the game single handed and plays out of his skin, we should crucify him.
Kane has been nothing but useless up to now but it's okay because "he's a finisher"

His level of performances and confidence are in question, they have been with our very own fanbase all season, not his ability
