Southgate is the luckiest England manager ever. He even got the job with a CV of little value. And it don't look like he's going to be sacked anytime soon. So on we go with drab boring inept old England.

He’ll get the next two major competitions, the lucky bastard. England need a good manager for 2024. With the youngsters coming through, that could be the year that England may have the strongest squad in years.
