I couldn't be arsed about him personally, but, I do think that he's being treated very differently to other long serving members of what was Southgate's 1st 11.

When you say very good what are you basing that on ? Pub teams ?
 
Southgate has told Ramsdale that he can't guarantee him a place in the Euro squad if he remains on the bench. Presumably because he's not one of the waistcoats favourites like Maguire, Philips or Henderson who plays in a pub league these days, but all guaranteed a squad place.
