How are Maguire, Henderson and Rashford in that squad? No Eze? No Mainoo? No White? No Solanke? All form players starting for their clubs. He’s a total bellend. Barkley has a good case as well.

I agree with you about Barkley and Solanke though. Would prefer Barkley to Henderson and Solanke instead of Toney.

Well Mainoo's pass completion rate was good against City at least.

He played 82 minutes and completed 12 passes out of 14.

Twelve passes in 82 minutes. How is that worth anything? I don't care about him sitting deep and occasionally intercepting and then attempting to break. That kind of crap won't see Phil get the ball ever in big games. We need players brave enough to try and dominate of to look to keep possession. I'd much rather see Lewis in there than Mainoo, at least we know he knows how to play the game.

Mainoo is wasted as a 6 though. He’d be better further forwards breaking lines.

I.dont watch them much, but all I've seen so far is typical over the top red hype.

You don't need spectacular players in the midfield anyway, good to have someone who will tick things over and get the ball to the match winners. Lewis could definitely do that role if Pep was in charge and he was surrounded by a load of players on the same wavelength.

Under Southgate though.... Yeah, maybe not.
