Probably too late
To be completely honest, Corberan has taken the same group of players that had failed 3 previous managers & got relegated & turned them into a team that mostly played possession based attacking football & became hard to beat. Finishing in the playoffs was unthinkable at the start of this season. The team has been without a striker all season due to long term injuries & has had to rely on playing Thomas Asante, who tries, but is a league 1 level striker at best, so the team has had to be strong at set pieces. That was the chance to get back in it.
Not seen a lot of West Brom this season but over the 2 legs they look like they are very reliant on set pieces for goals. Is this their usual style
Completely agree with your comments. You’d have only gone straight back down as usual, at least saints look like a footballing team, the two teams that finished miles ahead to play off the final , only fair two best teams by a mile
To quote another baggie on one of our forums tonight,Agreed. You haven't turned up tonight. It must be annoying for you.
Yeah; if you'd gone down swinging, that's one thing. But you didn't really show anything. It wasn't as bad as Norwich last night, but it was poor from your lads.To quote another baggie on one of our forums tonight,

Two very disappointing second legs . Norwich and the baggies didn’t perform and it is a sorry way to end the seasonYeah; if you'd gone down swinging, that's one thing. But you didn't really show anything. It wasn't as bad as Norwich last night, but it was poor from your lads.
Whilst it was expected, getting dicked is never nice.Yeah; if you'd gone down swinging, that's one thing. But you didn't really show anything. It wasn't as bad as Norwich last night, but it was poor from your lads.
