Enzo Fernandez

do not speak for me. I have seen many benfica and river plate matches before the world cup. it is you who has not idea and speaking from rather small sample size with him playing out of position. I repeat Enzo is technically at a different galaxy compared to bellingham and henderson. I see a modric type player who can run the midfield for years.
Bit weird arguing with yourself

why the fuck are you in such a hurry to reply before I correct some grammatical mistakes I thought was in the post. Anyway do not see a single thing that bellingham is better than enzo maybe press resistance could make a case. other than that the technical skill of enzo is better than anything bellingham can dream of. enzo is the perfect midfielder for pep to mold. you can have a look at his river plate highlights below if you are this clueless about him.

below his play for benfica who are dominating their CL group with PSG and Juve.

I didn't think there were any mistakes in your post.

Yeah, I've just watched all that and I'm still not seeing him the way you are. He's possibly got a more expansive passing range than Bellingham but other than that I just don't think he's on the same level on the ball and off the ball. Bellingham is also a much bigger goal threat.

Cant help thinking if he was ever going to join us it would have been his last move. We clearly had him scouted when doing alvarez but decided against it at £10m. Could have been tevez/mascherano take 2. 6 months later at £80m+? I dont think so.

Kroos and Modric (and Ceballos and Asensio) contracts expire in 6 months. Modric probably get an extra year. Fernandez to Madrid in Summer looks a good bet to me

Yeah i think Madrid will go for him mate and they could loan some of their younger players to Benfica maybe as a sweetener?

sorry don't think so. every top club like barca and real madrid are after him, no way he goes to newcastle even if they throw money around. argentine people love spain or italy.

Barcelona and Real Madrid aren't after him though, are they?

Real Madrid have Camavinga, Tchouameni as the future when Kroos and Modric eventually phase out.

Barcelona can't afford anyone.

Liverpool or United seems more likely but they aren't run that well and are in the takeover process

Newcastle have money and will be a CL club from next season and the PL is a draw...it would be surprising, but not that surprising.

I don't see it, certainly not Bellingham levels?

For me, De Paul was the one who caught my eye for Argentina.
It's arguable, but I think he is around Bellingham levels tbh.

When watching River Plate for Alvarez, Enzo also stood out as a huge talent.

Benfica fans are now also echoing that sentiment, he's been fantastic.

Bellingham is a couple years younger and english so will cost a fortune, and I still think we should get him, but Enzo would be an excellent shout.

Fuck just buy all 3 8's (Bellingham, Mac Allister and Enzo), the current 3 8's we have are either getting old (Gundogan, KdB) and need understudies or want to leave (Bernie).

If we get 2 out of 3 of these players, that'd be amazing buys. Mac Allister is perhaps going under the radar.
