Enzo Maresca

Oddly confident his tenure goes well. I think the biggest challenge will be to break down the low blocks and how he comes up with solutions for it, along with man management.

It is what it is, but I wouldn’t describe him as quote ‘the best manager possible’. Fair play to him wanting the job after Pep. Hope it goes well for him and us!

Taking my blue tinted specs off, it does feel like, that Pep told us in December he was leaving and then we tapped up Maresca telling him Peps leaving so do you want the job.
Agree on the timeline looking likely. But I think if we had 'tapped him up' we would be hearing a lot more about that.

Think this is (based on the reports) more of a cleaner case of chelsea having been clever with their termination agreement with him. And left their right to compensation as part of that.

Just interested in what figure are Chelsea after and do you think this might have a knock on to your transfer deals with not having a manager in place ?

Think we only have 3 non WC players,he could have then round in his back garden .
I make it 13, which is frightening, how many will be with us next season

Bettinelli, Donnarumma
Alleyne, Lewis, Reis, Wilson-Esbrand
Echeverri, Foden, Grealish, Nico, Nypan, Phillips, Savinho

Not a chance. We all know it’s happening. Maresca would have been in dialogue with viana for some time.

There is no rush re maresca confirmation. He will be working as city manager already

Well word coming out of City from his time with us was he was a brilliant tactician, so think he'll do well with the low blocks etc.

Im actually confident as well but we were so lucky with Pep.
