Epic live music performances

I wouldn't class myself as a fan by any stretch of the imagination; they're a bit "meh" for me. And they're as popular on here as a fart in a lift. But I thought Coldplay nailed it at Glastonbury a few years back. Ditto Elton last year. Not bad for a 76 year old.

I know it’s not “cool” but Coldplay are an awesome, awesome live band.

I saw them years ago on the X&Y tour and it was brilliant. Elbow supported which was ace.

Not really keen on their newer stuff but the first 3-4 albums were great.

Prince at Manchester Academy, 21st Feb 2014. A date on his Hit & Run Tour with 3rdEyeGirl. Having seen him many times since 1988, this topped them all. in fact topped all gigs I have ever seen.

To see him in a small venue as that made it even more electric. The band were so tight, and every bit as good as The Revolution even.

And it was on me birthday. :-)

I’d like to see Coldplay and I’m not a huge fan.

The most lively gig I ever went to was Andrew WK at The Hop & Grape in the early 2000’s. The Party Hard guy. Everyone was there for a great time and the atmosphere was phenomenal.

Err.... I guess that I don't think it's an epic live performance as per the thread title. Started by you:-)
you could have posted your own, of course, or not bothered at all or listened to New York City Serenade, which is anything but boring MOR dad rock, enjoy
