Epic live music performances

Talk Talk: Montreux festival 1986: In my minds eye the best live gig that they ever played. Totally smashed it!

Its been mentioned many times over. This is the holy grail benchmark of what a live performance track should be.

Pure undulated talent!

It's A Shame! Never be With Rage

Woodstock 1969: Santana. They kicked off their set at 2:00 pm on Saturday August 16th, being relatively unknown to the audience, but the rest as they say is history: Michael Shrieve’s performance, on Soul Sacrifice, was one for the ages.

Carlos Santana - guitar, vocals, maracas, cowbell
Gregg Rolie - vocals, keyboards, maracas, tambourine, jingle bells
Jose "Chepito" Areas - percussion, trumpet
Mike Carabello - timbales, congas, percussion
Michael Shrieve - drums
David Brown - bass

nothing worse than a weekend full of shit footy results and having to rely on fkn Luton to lighten the mood...

so, in he meantime - seek and find some solace in phenomenal live renditions of some *excellent music (*fuck off - don't get sarcy, post your own) - here's your starter for 10...

This is such a great track and a mega live version.

I wasn't a fan of this originally but Rufus takes it to another level - great voice...
