Did they party hard?

Very much.

People laughed when I told them but the entire venue was electric. Huge cheers after every song, stage invasions, crowd surfing etc.

Only The Darkness in the same venue (who I saw on a tip) came anywhere near close.

Seen some brilliant bands live over the years. But for atmosphere and seeing them at the very height of the popularity Oasis at Maine Road takes some beating. The War on Drugs at the Piece Hall Halifax were also pretty special. Both special venues.

A 5 minute drum duet (yes, I know it goes on, but they're two of the best drummers of all time), which then launches into the best instrumental ever (imo)
Tony Banks' band at their best.
