Colosseum at Manchester University Students Union, spring 1971. Certainly the most electrifying thing in music I've been privileged to witness. No clip of it exists. However, it was recorded, you lucky people — Colosseum Live.
If you don't like that kind of music, fair enough. It's horses for courses. But if you're into jazz rock in any way… that was the Everest of it. If you don't believe me, check out the double album.

The most lively gig I ever went to was Andrew WK at The Hop & Grape in the early 2000’s. The Party Hard guy. Everyone was there for a great time and the atmosphere was phenomenal.
