That’s not what they’re protesting against though. They’re not protesting against the existence of bloody oil. That would be stupid.
They’re protesting the approval of new fossil fuel licensing.
I don’t like JSO’s tactics at all but this man ranting on just sounds thick as mince. If he can’t even be bothered to read the very first line on their website then maybe he should get off his soap box.
Yet another person who thinks “Oh you criticise society yet you are part of society?” is some kind of smart gotchya that nobody has ever thought of before. The stuff of intellectual featherweights.
