Epidural for back pain

Had a spinal epidural injection two days ago. Seems not to have been the miracle cure I was hoping for.

They're making me jump through every hoop to avoid surgery.

Depends on your exact problem I suppose. I had epidurals at the pain clinic for a year(every 3months) and gradually the pain lessened and was able to build up the muscles in my back to help the problem but if the pain is caused by skeletal pain I would assume surgery is the only option
