Honestly I think both the Clinton's and trump are up their eyeballs in it but that's just my opinion

There is no evidence to show either Clinton or Trump did anything illegal; certainly not in the public domain. It is conceivable that both Clinton and Trump could have gone to Epstein's island retreat, but not had anything to do with any of the underage girl stuff that was supposedly going on.

However, there is something about the Trump/Epstein relationship that just doesn't sit right with me. It has been reported that Epstein played a large part in financing Trump's purchase of Mar a Lago golf resort, which would give him a fair amount of leverage with Trump, and possibly buy him a fair amount of favour.

In 2016, “Jane Doe” filed a lawsuit against Trump alleging a “savage sexual attack” in 1994, when she was 13 years old, in which he tied her to a bed at Epstein’s house, raped her, and struck her in the face. The account was corroborated by a witness who claimed to have seen the child perform sexual acts on both Trump and Epstein.

Just as he has a patten of sexual predation, Trump also seems to have a pattern of threatening victims who come forward. Jane Doe alleged in the lawsuit that Trump told her she shouldn’t ever say anything if she didn’t want to “disappear like Maria,” a 12-year-old girl who had also been abused along with her. Jane Doe dropped the lawsuit in November 2016, days before Trump’s election, after her attorney, Lisa Bloom, cited “numerous threats” against her client. (Trump denied the allegations, and Bloom declined to comment for this story.)

Of course ultimately these were just allegations but it doesn't look good on him. As for Clinton he flew on Epsteins jet many times to his Island and I would say that he's not clean either

I was aware of these allegations, and it just another example of 'one rule for the rich and powerful - one rule for everyone else'.

This is why I fear Barr's involvement. He should have been recused from anything to do with any Epstein case/investigation given that Barr's father once employed him. Bar could quite conceivably quash any investigation or evidence against Trump, citing anything from National Security to Presidential Privilege. It stinks.

Agreed.
It goes without saying but there should be an investigation headed by someone free from vested interest with a good reputation. Obviously everyone involved should be investigated whether a Democrat or Republican. It's an issue that should transcend party but unfortunately doesn't, go on Twitter and you'll see the mud flinging at just the opposition from both sides like they're supporting a football team, it's really disappointing

Meanwhile, many young lives have been destroyed, and politics is being put ahead of justice.

I'm pretty f*cked off with the whole thing if I'm honest.

This is what should happen but it wont, it'll be investigated by a shill who will find nobody culpable and we'll never find out who did what and when. Maybe they can get an independent like Chakrabarti to do the digging?

If Trump genuinely had nothing to hide he would allow these cases to go to trial and they would fall apart. But what we have is a series of similar incidents that get dropped / settled out of court. A trail of consistent behavior that goes back years. The exception is Stormy Daniels where in the end the Trump Defense team essentially accepted defeat and didn't argue it wasn't true.

I am by no means an expert on u.s politics but yes I agree with sentiment, investigation should be transparent and welcome.
Unfortunately as I mentioned to mad eye though the elites of this world aren't subjected to the same rules are us

We saw what happened when John Stalker was sent to investigate the shoot to kill policy in Northern Ireland. The government or whoever in high places didnt think they were going to get the result they wanted and hey presto Stalker all of a sudden is linked to the Quality Street Gang and he is off the case!

They figured it was just a Stormy in a D-Cup and it would all blow over.
