How things get turned on here. I’m only concerned with Mandelson, because I can vote against the people who protect him. I can do nothing if Trump was involved with Epstein, I cannot vote in America. Plain enough for you. You’re not protecting Mandelson are you?

Let’s not be hasty here. We need to let due process happen before we start wanting the Glazers in prison.

They’ve got a club to ruin.

It would be a very sad state of affairs if the only significant casualty from a criminal sentence perspective via the Epstein files was to be someone prosecuted for misconduct in public office in the UK, rather than for other somewhat less quaint offences, but if convicted based on the emails I reckon he’d easily be looking at a double digit sentence (maximum sentence for the offence is life imprisonment) and he could quite conceivably die in prison.

If those emails are legit, think he’s in huge trouble personally.

That said, if only the UK were prosecuting and sentencing our nonces, then the US media would be going apeshit, and that includes some of the MAGA lot.

There are many ways this can play out, but I don’t think he ever sees the inside of a jail cell.

I think he could get off with it, he could cut a deal or he could come to an end by his own hand or others. Any number of scenarios.

Apologies if that comes across as insensitive speculating on someone’s death, but we’re looking through a window into an extremely dark and sordid world. I just don’t see him in jail, however that transpires.

If he does go down, it will certainly be a long way off. Certainly not in the next 24 months I’d say. And a lot can happen in that time.
