I’ve seen plenty of credible discussion that he may have been a spy for Mossad or various other spy agencies and there’s no shortage of reasons why Mossad might have wanted to bump him off (such as trying to extort cash from them to replace the stolen pension fund money), but I’ve not seen anything credible that suggests he didn’t die on that boat. Some interesting exceptionalist language is deployed here - she was his "favourite daughter" - errr she was Robert Maxwells ONLY daughter. She is described as a "socialite " whereas if you were an Asian Taxi driver involved in such deeds you are a peadophile.....oh and immigrants arrive here but Brits living abroad are expats.....
