EG and Spain are thru to the U19 semi's after finishing 2nd to Portugal in the group - they'll face France Wednesday. EG played solid in group - Spain dominates the ball so chances to defend are pretty sporadic - but he moved the ball around crisply in possession. A poorly weighted pass to his CB partner lead to a foul at the top of the box which Italy put into the net due to some supremely crappy goal keeping. Other than that ... fine.

The epitome of an analysis of an Otamendi performance prior to our 100 point season. “Played really well.. except for the part where he fucked up and cost his team a goal”.

Thanks for the update, @shroom, I was just earlier today thinking about Eric and wondered where he was/why he isn't part of our squad atm.

Spain 0 - 0 France - even after 30 mins ET - Spain thru on pens - Eric Garcia was awesome, hope somebody does an iso vid of his performance
great game to watch, surprisingly very little simulation and flopping, just good stuff

  5. Pity about the timing.

It would be good if he could come from that into City's pre season rather than missing it all.

Congratulations to Eric for being an apparently very influential cog in a tournament winning side.

Hopefully he and THB can develop, grow, and thrive, while pushing each other towards our first team.
