Is it possible pep threw him in the deep end to prove a point to the board to spend on KK? seems like something he would do lol

I REALLY like Pep but ffs I wish he wouldn't always try to be so classy...

García only looked half-ready this year because of Laporte's injury, Nico's decay and Stones' lack of confidence. He'll be great in Spain, but lacks the presence needed for the PL.

I think we should sell him as quick as possible. Forget about Koulibaly and Diego Carlos, try Upamecano. Pay 80M if you need to. He'll last 10 seasons at least. It's better than spending 70M on KK now and another 70M in 3-4 years.

I'm sorry but Neville is wrong. When a Defense line steps up to get a team offside, the person commiting the error is the idiot who is ball watching and not staying on line. On the first goal, that was obviously Walker. Everyone else stepped up, which suggests it was the plan. But Walker did his ball watching brain fart, and rather than turn around and chase the error ( like Garcia did) he and Dihno pulled a Yaya and leisurely strolled back.

Garcia on the other hand once he realized Walker had shit the bed, turned around, chase and caught his man and then disposed him, but Walker was ball watching and let his man run past him to pickup and score the lose ball.

In that sequence, Garcia was the only one who did things right. Stepped up to create an offside, saw Walker messed up, immediately turned and chased down the Striker, stretch tackled the ball away, only to find the experienced Walker and Dihno couldn't be bothered.

On the 2nf goal, Neville again is wrong on the basic facts. He didn't rush forward to miss a tackle., He rushed forward to get a man offside. But just like on the first goal, another experience player did a bubu :(

I mean Neville seems to be suggesting a 19 year old should be instructing Walker and Laporte on the intricacies of the oifside trap and staying alert.

Cancelo is just a winger imo.

But the bigger problem imo is, that Pep has no respect for defending, so any 3, 4 or 5 he plucks from his hat, are supposed to instantly do the job, even if they barely play together.

Pretty much anybody, ever, who is half decent at it, will say how important it is, to build partnerships. Pep hasn't got any, since Vinny went & Stones went strange. Laporte now looks nothing, because of it.

His whole City future will depend on that changing imo.

Can you honestly see Pep changing.

I fear Sane is only the first, IMO. Bernardo looks like being next to be forced out. Will KDB, Sterling and others start to think, if they real want to win big ears do they look else wear.
