He starts him mainly due a lack of other viable options. He would be behind Stones, Dias, Laporte and Ake if all were available. I think he knows this and knows that his game time would be limited the next few seasons as our other CBs are all still relatively young.

I have nothing against him and sincerely hope he goes on to have a good career with Barcelona but I honestly don't see him cutting it at the highest level in the Premier League.

It seems that @FCBarca is loading a hell of a lot of expectations on Garcia's shoulders that are in no way obvious to City supporters.

Lets's hope Barca's negotiators feel the same way as their number 1 fan.

And yet Pep has made mistakes before and at some point will continue to do so (like any other human being in the world).

He maybe a roaring success at Barca - he wont be with us - everyone can see that and maybe he (garcia) can to

If Pep is so enamoured with him why has he gone out and bought Diaz as well as trying to buy other centre halves - maybe he realises Garcia aint suited to the premiership ?

I would hope so! We have just bought 2 players for Garcia’s position. Do we need to go on? He is not good enough and maybe never will. Good luck to him when he leaves.

Tommy Doyle was ordering people about in the LC left, right & centre. For the life of me I can't remember Garcia saying boo to a goose in any match ever. Leader my arse.
