Have you ever seen Lamela play?

Yes. Purposefully watched him play twice last season after we were linked with him. Incredibly disappointing. He just didn't get into either game.

I didn't get to watch him as much as I would have like last season because Roma's games often clashed with Fiorentina's but almost every time I watched him, except versus Juventus in February, he was excellent.

Strong, quick if not electric, close control, good in the air and an absolutely wonderful left foot. He's going to be a star, imo. No doubt about it.

That's why you don't rate him. I expect now that he is in England you will see a lot more of him and realize that he in fact is not overrated.

Depends, it definitely seems a gamble, but if he sticks with it and he is given time to adjust and develop, he could end up worth the fee. Not produced anywhere near his best so far.

Hasn't exactly set the world alight, but still just 21. Some players take longer to adapt, you never know.
