Erling Haaland signs 9.5 year new contract!

So just doing my sums... Half a million a week for 9.5 years is round about 250m (that's without add-ons and bonuses, obvs). It's a staggering amount of money, but in the context of how much one might pay in transfer fees to replace him (not to mention the replacements' salaries), it feels like an absolute steal.

Also the fact he's an actual superstar the likes we've not had before. Will be the face of City and the PL for years. Well worth the money.

It's only recently my 8 year old twins have shown any interest in football. My little girl constantly talks about Foden and my son only talks about Haaland. So much so he refused FIFA 25 (or whatever It's called now) and only wanted 24 as it has Haaland on the cover. Good lad.
