He won the league playing In 2 different systems because he is a very good player.
Mahrez wasn't key for us winning the prem league, dias was. Never said he wasn't a good player, he is definitely above average but he is an individual and he can't play in a system as we have seen ever since his arrival, he still plays like he at lfc. He thrives at clubs like aston villa, or everton, where the mediocrity around him makes him shine like the star we thought he was.

I'd be happy if we used our entire budget to get Haaland to replace Sergio. After that any players who are desperate to leave can, but only on our terms, which means a good fee and a replacement lined up with the proceeds.
Yes I’d much prefer this. I hope we’re not trying to buy Kane as some sort of statement because in all likelihood it will rebound right back in City’s face

haha.. totally.. he’s one of the top 10 most technically and naturally gifted players in the world off the back off a great season with great numbers that helped us win major honours and someone types that drivel.. original poster needs to lay of the glue.

Pep doesn’t pick players that can’t play in his system. He played him regularly and we won the league. That’s all we need to know.

Total lie. Look at how many games Mahrez made decisive contributions this season. Games like West Ham, Everton, Southampton, Arsenal etc. This narrative needs to be put to bed because it's simply not true.

Honestly if we could get Haaland and maybe get a LB, with Mendy going on loan, I think we are set, we don't need to do anything else, unless someone is desperate to leave but it has to be on our terms.
