I would wager a tidy sum that Kane made it abundantly clear he would come to City and had zero interest in any other club while Haaland's camp did not commit and went on a European vacation

In current circumstances Chelsea is probably a great move for him tbf. If I was 20 years old again and had the choice, London would probably have swung it for me.

We seem to be mostly interested in Kane - as Kane clearly wants to play for us and is top class. Secondarily we seem to be pursuing Haaland - in case the Kane deal falls through.

This, IMO, is a huge mistake. Sign Haaland at all cost.
