Can see Chelsea paying up for this kid.

They certainly have form for saying fuck it lets just pay it.
I was going to say Pulisic, Ziyech, Chilwell, Havertz, Mendy (not ours sadly) and Werner all bought in the past 18 months they’ve had their cheque book out and they haven’t managed to sell Oscar or David Luis for £60 mill a piece either

Couldnt think of anywhere worse to live than London, hate the place, I’d probably fancy Baghdad over London.

Fair fucks mate, I'm trying to think from the perspective of a 20 year old footballer but it's all assumptions tbf.

From my perspective it's better connected to the rest of the world, climate is better, more bars, clubs and restaurants. Chelsea offer a project as compelling as what City can too.

Ultimately I think the pay cheque is the most important element.

Yeah I suppose an elite footballer isn’t gonna give a fuck about people being pricks on the tube as much as I do! He’d love Manchester the lad, thank you waves when you’re driving and beer for under a fiver! Dream.

London is a World City, I get that. You make it sound like Manchester is a tiny back water town. Get a grip, we have some amazing restaurants, an airport in the top 20 busiest in Europe (pre pandemic) and some amazing bars? I suppose it rains a few less days a year in London, it’s hardly Miami though. Sorry your post did make me chuckle.

London is the largest city in Europe by some distance, apart from the weather it has everything. If you have the money you want for nothing in London.

Manchester, by European standards? Bottom half middle ranking, behind the likes of Munich and Lyon.
