If anything we probably get too much value out of our senior players, we get 5+ years out of nearly all of our top players that deliver trophies season after season. If we had put Kompany or Aguero on the market in their pomp we might have won the "Net Spend" as well.

Can't have it both ways. Have top players and keep them together for years and win trophies or have top players and sell them when they are good so you can brag about how much money you got for them.

I wasn't basing the argument around what we'd get for him, it's just an annoyance more than anything else that makes City's job replacing them a little more difficult. The wages are the mane thing with Haaland.
 
With the way out transfer window has gone, any chance we make a big push for Haaland in the January window?
