Not always Salah, KDB , Lukaku not so much.
Not sure about Lukaku but the first two were considered unproven players that didn't really become first team regulars.

The fact that not "every" outgoing fee seems inflated, is irrelevant though. If you were cheating the system, you wouldn't do it for every transfer and you'd probably only do it when you really need some slack on FFP. They do seem to get ridiculously good money for dead wood, like for like, compared with most other PL teams(bar Liverpool).

Personally, I don't subscribe to the idea that City and most other clubs are just bad at selling. You can only sell for what people are willing to pay and a club will know when another club deems a player not good enough and wants rid. So it is fair to ask how are they doing it(or question why the other team is taking the risk) with some transfers. Is it all down to luck/good timing?

£100m will be needed to get him + agent fees of around £10m & £200.000 a week wages

6 year deal we are talking £170m all in ?

25m for Sancho sell on clause & Braff?
Gundagun £40m
Angelino ( do we have to sell to Liepzig?)

Just don’t get why we didn’t push for him when he left Red Bull we’ve been crying out for a striker now for 3 years our transfers of late haven’t exactly set the world alight

Because his agent wanted him at a stepping stone club first, every club in the world would have stumped up the 20m it cost Dortmund, it wasn't an option for anybody.

The chances are if he signs for us then in 4 or 5 years, it will be 'Real' as the next port of call.
