Agree.....next summer is going to be extremely difficult to get his services as there will be renewed interest from all and sundry you can count on that

What were the barriers to this...his dads and agents fee's ? Where these reported figures legit or just figures just being plucked from twitter ?

Don’t think it would be pointless if we decided we really wanted him, because I think there would only be 2 or 3 others in for him. I’m not totally convinced we do or will.

You tell Haaland we want him by showing him how much he's valued now. Waiting for a huge drop in price is weak imo.

With the fees, the worry is the way Chelsea seemed to be all him for him, then pulled out just as quickly.

If Chelsea balked at paying them , I would say the rumours that they are huge have some truth.

I still would think buying him now would be cheaper than next summer.

I dont think he goes to PSG as Raiola knows how hard is it to move players from PSG. If Haaland would fancy his chances at a much better league in 3-4 years, he probably would have to run his contract down like Mbappe to do that because what Raiola could do with Doortmund with the optionall fee built into the contract he wont be able to do that with PSG or pretty much any top club in Europe but PSG is probably the hardest to buy players from.

look at Mbappe, they hold out for a crazy fee even with risking of him going for free.

If we had Mbappe now saying he is unhappy at Manchester, Txiki would say ok he accepts 70m for him. PSG might get 150m for him and still holding out for more lol from Perez.

I don't think the fees are the concern. Not sure why Chelsea would all of a sudden change their mind over paying agents fees etc. Haaland just doesn't want to go there so they went for Lukaku who does.

He also doesn't want to come to City which is why we haven't made any offers.

I think our pursuit of Kane has ruled out showing that Haaland is our main choice.
