Erling Haaland

Diffference is this isn’t a saga , It’s as simple as agreeing contract with Haaland. Pay Mino his fee. Activate clause done. It’s like Rodri, he had a clause we activated it he signed. We just had to agree everything with the player. I don’t think city will cower away from signing Haaland, he’s a young prospect unlike Kane.

Not a saga? Depends how you define it?

We've already all been speculating about it for months, that's what I mean by saga.

If we got him it would be amazing but as per the other sagas we've had over the years with big glamour names, we've just never been able to pull it off.

People mention KDB as a counter to this but when we signed him he wasn't in the tier that Haaland is.

I hope but don't expect. It's the hope that kills you.
KDB established himself as one of the best players in the Bundesliga and was integral in the club's 2014–15 DFB-Pokal win. Thats exactly what Haaland has done.

City like before will be the warm up act before the serious contenders come calling.

Txiki with his board

“Right lads. Haaland will be allowed to leave for €75m ? We need to be tough and resilient with this”

“Txiki, shall we not just go in with the full asking price and not fuck about this time?”

Txiki “trust me with this, we shall bid €15m no more! And maybe later on in the window, go back and throw some add ons to sweeten the deal. Watch this guys theyll be begin us in the end to take him”

“Txiki, can I inform TH off bluemoon to post some music videos?

Txiki “great idea! I’ll log on later to see the hype! 3000 pages guaranteed!”

“ Txiki I’ve just received a text! Man Utd have offered asking price and offered £400,000 a week in wages, deal done”

Txiki “what about Danny Ings?”

Not sure you can categorise Kev when we bought him from Wolfsburg as the same to the possible Haaland acquisition with as many suitors at the time.

It was second time's a charm for our beloved Kev. I distinctly remember the good old press labelling him a 'Chelsea reject' when we bought him due to his earlier Premiership struggles in a Mourinho team which was already packed full of quality midfielders.

Furthermore, Haaland has not only been impressing domestically but also banging them in the Champions League for the past two years.

Truth be told there weren't as many suitors for Kev when we eventually bought him compared to Haaland currently.

I would say there's a good chance he overtakes all of these in the all time European Cup/CL goal scorers list this season, before his 22nd birthday.
