Truth is Mbappe and Haaland can both play wherever they want to play next season. The players will decide who they play for not the clubs and not too much we can do if Madrid is their wish. Not saying it is mind.

i really cant see any player having a release clause that activates half way through a season , i mean why would a club do that, it doesn't make one bit of sense , whoever is saying that imo is wrong, however we will see.
