If Bernardo leaves now it will mess with our whole system. Rodri seems to thrive when Bernardo plays in the middle, not so much when its Gundo and Kev. If Bernardo leaves we may need someone who is going to do a similar job in midfield. I dont think Jack of Phil are defensive enough to implement that role.

Bloody good job he didnt leave this summer as he's just showing game after game how important he is to us. Would be a huge loss if he did go and leave a gaping hole in our side.

Unless it is a stupid release clause of 600 million or 1 billion that happens mostly in Spain, are the numbers behind the release clauses even out in the open?

Really hope Bernardo stays. He has proved that he deserves a spot in our team for a few seasons more.

I hope so, but we can't force him to stay if he really does ended up leaving next summer. I don't want Bernardo relationship to the club grow sour if we forcefully him to stay with us.

It's very fortunate that Bernardo is very understanding that no club can afford him in last transfer window. Rather being disappointed and dropped his form when he is playing on the pitch. He does the opposite and trying to be the best Bernardo that he can possibly can be.

I think the club should honor and grant his wishes to leaves if he really still make up his mind to leave the City next summer if other club can afford his price. Like i said the way he perform right now, it's like as if he wants to leave the club with high note.
