The Newcastle bit is just nice for laughs, but the source for that site’s article is this story on As (the second sports paper in Madrid after Marca), and it matters. The headline: “The interest by City and PSG for Haaland makes his signing hard”. Again, here is Real Madrid communicating to their fans through this paper, that gets everything straight from them, that they will not be signing Haaland. This is the third “leak” this week in that direction— one of the others was for Jose Pedrerol from Florentino Perez HIMSELF. I said last week they wouldn’t be in for the guy, no one here seemed to agree and what followed just reinforced my initial hunch. This is how Madrid operates.
If it really comes down to us vs PSG, I would give us over 70%. As of now, I only see United as another real possibility, but still distant. Who else? Thank God Chelsea signed Lukaku...

You know , they night actually not get Mbappe ,theres an actual article roday in Madrid media asking themselvs if Mbappe changed his mind about leaving based on a tweet or instagram post of his.
If they don't get Mbappe they'll be all in on Haaland for sure, even if they get him they'll try Haaland too IMO

I like Sterling but I think his time with us is coming to and end and i think all parties see that....Sterlings comments certainly hint that he wants a move abroad (cant blame him). He has earnt it and Id gladly let him go on the slight cheap if it was to go abroad (no one here can afford him bar Chelski or utd and he wont go to old toilet!)

I'd Ben delighted to see those two moved on to include Haaland, absolute no braine

I don’t know what article you are talking about, but trying to read into a tweet is really reaching too hard. It’s pretty obvious he is so ready to move on from PSG. That doesn’t mean he will look miserable every game
If you want to continue to think they will try Haaland, fine go ahead, but I am telling you that ALL the evidence coming out of Madrid says they won’t. They are operating how they always do through Perez in communicating to their fans what the plans are, and the experienced fans themselves already understood that it’s all Mbappe and Haaland isn’t on the plans. Which isn’t shocking when you see that they already have a 9 that is probably top 3 in the world currently.
