If it was wages yes, but if Puma said privately if you sign for a certain team we’ll give you a better contract that would be a private matter between him and Puma ,nothing to do with us.
All players have their own sponsor deals with outside companies.

Except Puma, or whoever, would probably give a better contract for signing for Real, Bayern, the rags or the dippers than us.

Probably because he’s got a touch like his dad, and there are technically refined footballers available for a fraction of the overall cost and drama, who’d fit more seamlessly into top sides.

We definitely need an orthodox #9 as an option, but he’d be more trouble than he’s worth to accommodate his awkward all-round play and prick of an agent.

I'm beginning to fall into the camp that are unsure thus transfer suits us and him. Look at how Chelsea are playing without Lukaku. They are much better. I think we are a false 9 team at this point and should make purchases to suit that.

True but he’s also a fan of City. I think it’s easier for him to publicly support Leeds because his ambitions are higher than that club. He’s never going to be linked with Leeds now but we’re a legit option for him. So he doesn’t get constant questions about possibly joining us, he removed himself from that Norwegian City fans Facebook group, unliked all those City tweets on his Twitter, and stopped wearing our shirts. :)

I just look at how pep used lewandowski and that seems to go okay in my book.

Could very well be some truth is this and I hand thought of it from this perspective. If he was walking round In city gear every week the world wouldn't stop talking. And this thread would become isco on steroids
