Erling Haaland

I'm beginning to fall into the camp that are unsure thus transfer suits us and him. Look at how Chelsea are playing without Lukaku. They are much better. I think we are a false 9 team at this point and should make purchases to suit that.

I understand your point for how we're set up right now but Pep is our Galactico and he will adjust to maximize the overall potential of the group. Give Pep better ingredients and he will cook up a storm.

Whatever we do, at this point I absolutely trust that Guardiola will squeeze 99% of the potential out of whatever group is given to him. If we get Haaland we'll see the best of him in a team structured to exploit his strengths, and that's a terrifying prospect for the rest of Europe.

I'm also not sure I agree with all this talk on here that he's not got a delicate touch. Plenty of his goals he's dodging through challenges in the box and I recall him assisting Reus against City with a perfectly weighted one touch pass on the turn.

I’m beginning to think the opposite and that we cannot afford to miss out. Having this sort of player in our squad when Pep leaves is going to mitigate the drop in form, because let’s face it, we will be downgrading on our manager even if we get the next best choice out there.

this would make sense if we hadn't played the exact same way with the same manager, for 2 seasons *with* a recognized striker and scored a lot more goals, lost less games, generally looked better. come on now.

Haaland is a Leeds United fan and wanted to sign for Leeds from molde, had a shirt number and went to the training ground ect only for Leeds not to stump up a few mill to molde. He's also been seen in Leeds United shorts at Dortmund training.

His family album says otherwise.

Haaland can have the first touch of a donkey for all i care, as long as his second touch puts the ball in the net. We have players that have the first touch of angels ,we need a finisher who knows where the net is on a regular basis. i dont care what else he does or doesnt do on the pitch as long as he is putting the ball over the goal line .
