Erling Haaland

This is going to be the auction we all knew it was going to be all along

Is he really going to go to a Top 4 yo-yo team that sacks their manager every 2-3 years? And can they afford him after their recent spend?

Also, look at Werner's record at Leipzig and now at Chelsea. They'll have Werner, Abraham, Giroud and Haaland. A bad run of games and they'll go back to the old favourites. Chelsea have signed some very high profile strikers and quite a few haven't worked out.

A hell of a lot riskier than a team that's not finished outside the top 4 in 11 years, has the world's best midfielder creating for him and no clear competition for the starting striker role.

With City less reliant on matchday income then most we should be best placed to sign Haaland

Exactly and we didn’t have a particularly big spend last Summer ( maybe with Aguero replacement in mind)
There is also a real possibility that Chelsea don’t make the Champs league

I guess financially we can compete it’s where Haaland will want to go

May have to bite the bullet with his agent and fee. Even if he's only with us 3/4 years before he's off due to his agent. That being said once he's here who'll be able to afford him if he keeps improving or match our wages.

This lad with Kun moving to a bit part player would make us scary as fucking hell, even Kane would shit up 95% of teams we play tbf...it'd stop teams defending with a flat back 9 as I think they'd know to get anything at all out of a game with us they'd have to come out & have a go, then they'd run into Dias & Stones.

We spent 110m.
Ake, Torres and Dias.
We got fees for Sane , Otamendi and Tosin.
We don't have a whole lot of players to sell this year.
I did read that Pep has 200m to spend in the summer.

Even if it costs 120/130m, we should bring him in. Selling Mahrez & Jesus should recoup that fee so we'd still have plenty of net spend to get a new left-back and Messi (should he be available)

Absolutely.
I think the hardest job to do this year will be selling players whilst getting a decent fee.
Aguero and Fernandinho may go and free up 2 spaces plus their wages.
Laporte or Ake may go if not getting regular football.
Harrison and Angelino will bring in some money too.

You are mistaken. In fact, we have never had this many valuable players on loan that we can sell.
Harrison (10m-25m), Nmecha (10m-20m), Yangel Herrera (15m-25m). Angelino (20m), Braaf (10m?).
I can also see us selling Zinchenko and/or Mendy, if we get a good offer. Zinchenko should cost at least 20m+.

It's hard to estimate how much we would get from all these players. Or even if it's a good market to sell. Because of the financial situation of many clubs due to Covid.
