Erling Haaland

If we're seriously in for him then I'd expect nothing more than the rag shit steaming in and offering him a 100k a week more. It's what the twats do, and it always backfires spectacularly, if they do it again though this one will be different, unless they could somehow turn him to shit as well
If there’s one thing I’m confident of it’s that Haaland won’t be at United.

A team full of overpaid underperforming attackers and likely won’t even be in the CL next season. Haaland very much seems keen to break records and win trophies and he has his pick of any team, it will not be United.

Two days ago it was a done deal to them. Today they are pessimistic. In two days they'll be optimistic. Then they'll face competition from someone. Then they'll squash all compettion and be his first choice. Then they might feel pessimistic again for this or that reason. And so on.
The clicks all count the same.

Mbappe and Haaland in the same team will not work. They both will be going for the ballon dor
ego vs ego, they both want to be the best. I can’t see how Madrid would make it work. One of them would become unhappy in the long run

In a way I'd quite like for them to do this because I firmly believe he'd turn it down. They aren't playing CL next season, they haven't won a trophy in 5 years. There have been a few big moments over the years in our relationship to them and this would be another. A top player turning them down in favour of less money but more chance of success at City would be a serious statement of how the last 10 years have changed the dynamic.
