Erling Haaland

I am now. I believe things have improved immensely recently. As far as I am aware apart from Kev, not too many of our players have been out for long periods, especially with muscle injuries. A few seasons ago we always seemed to have two to three players a week out injured, but I suppose back then we had Kompany, Serg and Delph, all at the same time.
Fair point, maybe add in Stones as well though :)

I witnessed a team that was scared and did not give a sh1t about a teammate almost cut in two.

The lack of reaction was a disgrace, the Irish Pi$$y twat did GBH on the pitch and not one of our players batted an eyelid, either the dressing room agreed with what Kean did to Haaland or there were 10 cowards wearing sky blue that day.
I watched it from the other side of the world and cannot understand how Keano was not but into the middle of next week. But then we were very soft in those days so hardly surprising I suppose.

Carroll was almost like the last of the piss heads who thought they could still be players. A car crash of an athlete. The absolute state of him. If he hasn’t already he’ll be eating snakes arseholes soon…
Once ate a snake and it was fairly nice, not sure if I got landed with the asshole though. I do remember growing up that most of us tried to avoid that funny bit at the end of a roast chickens hole. So maybe best to stay away from those parts of an animal.

Totally agree. The thing is, if any of our players had actually stood up to Keane that day - not necessarily punched him, just got in his face - he would have piped down. The Man was, and is, a shit house and a coward.
Watch him against Wimbledon, particularly against Vinnie Jones, and he was getting kicked left and right and never reacted at all. Quiet as a mouse. And bear in mind, Vinnie jones for all his carefully cultivated image was never a true hard man. He was simply an uncultured thug. And Keane shit himself and never went near him the whole game. There’s highlights on YouTube you can watch. It’s hilarious.
probably an urban myth this next bit as I certainly didn’t witness it myself, but a good friend told me of a time he was out in altrincham and saw Keane largeing it in the Cresta Court one night, being a bit of an obnoxious twat, giving random lads evils etc and some bloke about 5’9 or so took exception and absolutely smashed him to bits in about 10 seconds.

Like him as a pundit, hated him as a player. A coward and a bully. And to this day I still haven’t forgiven the city side that day for not standing up for a teammate.

I don’t mind him as a pundit although I always feel a bit dirty when I laugh along with him or agree with something he says.

The problem with that derby where he walloped Haaland was that we had no real characters and probably suffered a bit of an inferior complex towards United. Apart from maybe dickov/ goater/ Horlock who else was there that had any belly about them. We were truly shit that season and there was a lack of fight/pride amongst that side.
