If we sign him, it won’t be without Pep’s say-so and Pep only gets players who he thinks will work with the team. There will be a plan for him either way and it won’t just be battering balls into the net.

He’s a brute but that’s not all he is, let’s face it. He got a lovely assist against us last season by dropping deep and a nice flicked ball around the corner. He has it all and that’s why he’s so sought-after.

But hopefully mostly battering balls into the net multiple times a game :)

The one negative with Haaland is his injury record, he has missed a lot of games and has admitted himself it's part of his game that he was to sort out and improve.

300k plus a week is a lot of money, however rich we are if a player is missing big chunks of a season.

True but I think I'd take the risk with him.

Totally agree but let's hope we get to the bottom of the injury issues, we can't afford a player of that talent sat 1/2 a season with the medics.

One dimensional is the key phrase. We already have the best goal difference in the PL and it's the same 3 points for 1-0 as for 5-0. Except for Eddie' (so far!) all our players from 2 to 47 can score goals. Can't imagine them being told "Give it to Haarland" with every attack. Hasn't worked for the Rags and CR7.

Every senior squad member has scored in the PL so far this season except for Eddie, Kyle & Oleks. Wouldn't surprise me if Eddie broke his duck first leaving the other 2 to take a lot of stick :)

We are bigging the lad up so that the rags will spend a kings ransom on him in the summer, the GPC will meet him at the airport with a wheelbarrow of money and a promise to play every game.

Then he'll struggle against Burnley in February in the rain :)
