We missed an opportunity, time to move on.
How so? He has a buyout clause next year. If we're willing to pay it and give him a wage to match we have as good a chance as any. I don't think we will but the opportunity is definitely there. We missed an opportunity, time to move on.
Well they’re performances based bonus wages so in the end you can make way more but some people might not like wages structured like this tbhI also think the chances are very low, but less because of Raiola and more that the relatively low buyout clause means that the wages on offer from competing clubs will be way more than we'd pay. We don't pay market wages for top targets anymore.
Lol what are you even on about? We missed an opportunity, time to move on.
When other clubs are offering the same to more money than we are, but in basic wages rather than incentives, that means we're under the market. It's not a value judgement, it's just a fact.Well they’re performances based bonus wages so in the end you can make way more but some people might not like wages structured like this tbh
Yeah true. Someone explained that a lot of the wickets are pretty easy to check off though to get nice bonuses. Like x amount of appearances, etc. When other clubs are offering the same to more money than we are but in basic wages rather than incentive that means we're under the market. He was available to Dortmund for €20 million because he was guaranteed to play and develop there. And also because another very lucrative move was guaranteed in 18 months because of the buyout that's in his deal. Was available for €20 million 6 months ago, and we didn't sign him !

Commissions received:didn’t Alife and mino both get paid €10m each?
