Erling Haaland

Surely he can’t sign any agreement until the clause is paid. I can’t see how the clause could kick in before the season ends, if it did and was paid surely the buying team would insist he doesn’t play for Dortmund again. That wouldn’t make any sense.
Lets say the release clause, according to his contract, can’t be triggered until after the season, there is precedent that allows it to be paid early and allows the player to sign a binding contract with his next team but continue to play for his current team. Dortmund would have to allow it which I think they would because there is no chance he stays there and BVB can get extra money (on top of the release clause amount) for helping the buying club secure their player a little earlier.

City could agree to pay Dortmund more than the release clause, pay it now, and have EH sign a binding contract that takes force in the summer. It’s what Liverpool did with RB Leipzig and Keita…he signed with Liverpool a whole year before his release clause could be triggered while still a Leipzig player. That could be whats happening now to avoid a summer long saga. Most reputable journalists have said we’ll know his next club in 2 weeks. I really hope if he says City we make it official now and not take his word and wait until summer.

This guy is a fraud
Absolute Grade A fraud. He’s a massive rag on a fake it til you make it IMO.

Apparently there are enough idiots to believe him. What annoys me about these pop-up Romanos is that there’s no editor to vet their sources, nothing. Just build up a following then fill the feed with shit.

The only person who knows where Erling Haaland will play next season, is Erling Haaland. Free will is a beautiful thing, and until the ink is dry on any physical contract he's not ours. Everyone claiming he's definitely coming here is talking, to put it kindly, out of their arse.

Admittedly my giddiness quotient is quite high, because clearly the right moves are being made, but I'll refrain from watching the YouTube vids just yet. Superstition and all that.

With a transfer like this there’s no point second guessing what he will decide. He’ll choose his next club when he’s ready.

That doesn’t negate the idea that City believe he’ll choose us. But ultimately he could easily have a change change of heart. Free will is a beautiful thing. :)
