Talksport is a pantomime - nothing more - and football offers a ready conveyor belt of skint no-marks like Jordan who are more than happy to turn up and play the big bad wolf character for money. They don’t genuinely care about what they’re being paid to say - they’re just a rent-a-gob there to generate revenues for Murdoch.

Their model is to pay washed up has-beens and never-weres who are desperate enough and can’t get a gig anywhere else in the media to try and be as provocative and incendiary as possible - firstly so they can max out on advertising revenues due to all the fucking idiots who tune in to listen to incessant gutter brush ads interspersed with the odd alcoholic former Plymouth Argyle striker or Daily Star journo shouting whatever crap they’ve been told to that day, and secondly in the hope they'll trigger one or two listening in from the more witless end of the fucking idiot scale to pick up the phone and pay the ridiculous rates they charge to be talked over for two minutes and then hung up on.
