All he said was, 'there is a release clause, and a deadline'. After previously stating they have set a deadline for Haaland to accept their improved offer to remove the clause.

It would be no different to us setting a deadline for Sterling to sign an extension. Nothing actually happens if that deadline passes, they are still players of the club, until they are not.

Just watched his goals from yesterday. OK, there's no doubting that Wolfsburg are shite. However...

Two things.
1) Movement. He's always in and around the ball when it comes in from crosses. He regularly finds the space in the box.
2) Finishing. His finishing looks so simple because he's calm, picks his spot (see 2nd goal) and puts it exactly where he wants.

Two huge attributes to go with his speed, physicality, link up play, etc, etc.
