Yeah he just always struck me as a player who thrives in a counter attacking set up. With City being the team that controls possession the most in this league, it's going to be interesting to see how he fits into that system. Perhaps we might not even see the best of him until his second season at the club. It does seems like your players sometimes have to go through a season of acclimatising and learning Pep's football before lighting up the league in year 2.

Dortmund do average 59% possession in the league - drops a bit in Champions League mind, so they may play more to counter attacking in that.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with my post

You were clearly mocking the guy and offering absolutely nothing other than that.

Notice the difference between that one and this one you've just posted:

In this particular case, just don’t think things are taking long, they’re following the regular course. After the season ends is when announcements should be expected

That's a good post and a proper answer to what they were asking.

I'm not attacking you and I enjoy your presence on the forum but you should stop being snarky with people who don't deserve it and then acting indignant when people do the same to you. It's beneath you.

Their were two instances vs the scousers where KDB crossed and if we were having a conventional striker it would have been a tap in and scoreline could have been 4-2 instead of 2-2. Haaland would suit us just fine and if he is available for the majority of next season he could well get above 30 goals mark.

True, but it's also a pretty open league that gives you more of a basketball vibe in the way teams go back and forth.

I'm gonna reign it in though because it's starting to sound like I'm casting doubt over him and just being negative about him for the sake of it. He's an elite player and it will be exciting to have a player like that in this league.

I was quoting the exact same words he used in a quick reply. There was no mocking, and notice that the guy himself had no problem with it, but you and usual haters just have to come regulating everything I post. It’s suffocating. How about next time you save the overt outrage for when the person I’m replying to feels outraged themselves? And I suppose going around calling other members names like “nobhead” is all fine on the other hand… no outrage there

Yeah for sure, but I meant would year 1 be a bit of a struggle as he's learning Pep's style. Seems like this has happened for a few of your players. Written off (by the media and outsiders) in year 1 before storming back in year 2 fully acclimatised to the system.
I don't think it'll be a struggle - we basically just need him to put the ball in the net. The finer details of playing Pep football will take a bit of time, but won't prevent him from being clinical in front of goal

If Chelsea can get the ownership stuff sorted in the next month or so, I think he's staying. If there's a delay in the process, he might not want to wait and let the opportunity to land at Real Madrid pass.

Chelsea journos have always insisted that he wants to stay but that it comes down to timing.

I admire your belief, reads to me as a non Chelsea fan that he is 100% leaving but saying this “I might stay” bollocks to keep the fans off his back for the rest of the season. We had with Milner before he signed on for Liverpool and banked a nice £10m signing on fee.

I personally think he’s long gone.

Nothing but love from me, mate. Just calling it as I see it.
