We'll if Pep flops the league too then he has to walk. I don't think there's anyway his position is tenable if that happens. That is the minimum we can go down to after the disappointing FA and CL semi exits and the fact we had a sizeable lead in this competition.

Losing pace towards the end of this season and struggling to get over the line in competitions isn't peps fault.

The board has neglected to bring in a proper striker the last two seasons.

One of our left backs is in jail for being a piece of shit.

Board sold one of our forwards in January.

I think the club's support of pep needs to be looked at, but pep absolutely stays put. Even if I think he could have used Palmer and McAtee in the odd league game to keep legs fresh. But involving youth isn't a stackable offense and neither is leading an unbalanced squad to the latter stages of 3 competitions. Regardless of whether we finish off the title.

Managers in the end should be decided by their league results IMO. It's no brainer unless you think Pep is the be it all and the best we could ever get. Pep or not City will still win a lot of PL titles in the foreseeable future. Besides he's been pretty much ineffective in giving the board the long awaited CL.
You may think a final and a semi final is inefective, you may think his future depends on the c/l. it isn't If his future is dependent on league results, then I reckon he's good for a while. As do the club and most fans.

And in your little world, who would you replace the best manager in our history with next season?

We've already had positive news on this weeks ago.

There won't be an announcement until the window is open.

On the post-match thread Tolmie has said we'll be getting a Fernandinho replacement and a left back.

Oh really? That’s good then!
