Erling Haaland

Henry-Eto'o-Messi
Villa-Messi-Sanchez

He's no problem playing more than one if they're versatile.
Yeah I see what you're saying with that but that means Jesus playing more as a winger as he's not going to out Haaland out there. I wonder if Jesus would be happy with that or whether he'd want to cement his position as number 9 for the national team by playing there week in week out for his club

He played more on the left wing for Palmeiras than anywhere else and he plays as an attacking mid for us now, I doubt his ego will get in the way.

No. We have two players in every position, play 60 odd games every season and Pep rotates. There are also injuries. Also, Jesus can play wide left too. I think he's the perfect player to have alongside someone like Haaland.
It's not so much about the number of games but who plays in the big ones. I'm not one to doubt peps man management as it's worked pretty well so far. I just hope we don't see one leave to get the other in.

Does Pep have issues with Mendes? Mendes is a super agent but a distinctly professional one.

Raiola is a different animal.
Raiola isn't an issue, neither is Mendes. I'd rather have City dealing with either than some two bit hack like Seluk with one client they're totally reliant on.

You simply don't know that.

David Villa, signed as an out and out centre forward. Played left wing.
Ibrahimović was moved out wide. Juventus got to the CL final with Mandzukić on the wing.

Haaland is absolutely rapid, he would be our quickest forward.
There is nothing to say Pep couldn't use him out wide to fantastic effect. Just because he is tall doesn't mean he can't be versatile.

I hope not but you never know who's whispering in his ear. I think Jesus's work rate and versatility is big plus to this squad. Also I know he cans sometimes have off days in front of goal but his record is a good one considering he's coming on as sub a lot.

I just find it hard to believe you'd sign one of the best strikers in Europe and then play him on the wing. The other situations you mention are different in the sense that the other clubs were already stacked at centre forward. Having said that, this is pep and I wouldn't put anything past him in terms of player positions

He's a team player. If he was a selfish **** he'd have 20 goals this season but we'd have less as a team.
