Doesn’t get involved in the build up, passes per 90 and touches in the middle third
is also dispossessed a lot , dispossessed per 90

his shooting stats are amazing though

basically get the ball to him and he will score a lot of goals

doesnt scream city player though, indeed Kun had to alter his game once Pep came in

i think a lot of people in this thread are going to be disappointed

I’m curious if you have watched him play (and consequently watched how Dortmund play) or have just looked at the stats

It’s amazing to me how many people try to convince themselves that a player who is a blue at heart and likely the best striker of his generation, probably a future multiple times Ballon D’Or winner, won’t fit us.

How many teams play exactly like City? Gonna be hard pressed to hind someone who’ll fit perfectly. What you can do is look at a player and go yeah he’d do well for us and can improve greatly cos he’s only 20.

I dont think many were in for Lucas really. Sane went because hes German, German players see Bayern as the main goal only one really that went against that was Kroos. If he was German id be worried. if someones says but they let lewandowski run down his contract. but the same thing again i dont think at that time many wanted him so bayern were free to talk to him. Do you think if Real Madrid and Barcelona in that time fully went in for him do you think he wouldve joined Bayern.

The Main club really we need to be wary of is Real Madrid.

Maybe, maybe not. He’s been linked with Madrid quite a few times but would he have fancied himself displacing Messi or Ronaldo?

If Bayern can convince Haaland to wait a year, he could end up there. Really hope that’s not the case but it’s the easiest route to silverware for him. Madrid don’t look a patch on their CL winning side and are behind the worst Barca team in a decade.

Has it crossed your mind that Pep always changes the way his teams play from one season to the other, while sticking to the positional play principles? His thinking isn’t static. We would be playing a different kind of football were Aguero at his best and capable of playing 90 minutes. And a lot of players at their teams are forced to play a different style of football anyway, which doesn’t mean they aren’t capable of adapting. UNDER PEP we have signed players that had to go through a tactical adaptation from their previous club. Which ones failed at that, may I ask?
