Kane is a supremely intelligent footballer, highlighted by his assist record. Those doubting that he would thrive in our supremely intelligent team, led by our supremely intelligent manager....are not supremely intelligent.
It's a pity Pep is so supremely intelligent in big European games. He just needs to be intelligent enough keep things simple and not confuse anyone.

PSG biggest issue is a poor standard of football and league, the advantage is a wonderful city to live in.

City's issue is once Pep is gone, Manchester as in the city is not an attraction, but the club and league is a huge pull.

If there was truth to that, it would make all the more sense for the club to pursue high profile top young players like now and for the future, rather the PL fish from smaller ponds that would be up for the step up at any point really.

Isn't that what we are doing?

We have young exciting players coming in from all over the world, some playing in the EDS, some go out to CFG clubs or loaned to non affiliated clubs.

Not all will make it but the ones who do will be brought into the first team squad.

We have seen from the success of the youth teams last season, he future is incredibly bright in terms of home grown players.

Half of these players at City would not even be here if it was not for Pep.

We are fairly dependent on him.

City will find it lot harder to attract players once hes gone.

Pep factor is our only compensation against the prestige of Barca, Real, Bayern.

Once Pep is gone, we will have to compensate this by money, like PSG are doing.
What utter drivel. We had absolutely no problem signing top quality players before Pep arrived, and we will have no problem signing top quality players when he has left.

You mean what like the Rags do?

Throw more and more money at massive salaries so players will join...Because they used to be a big club, Now they are are club that nobody gives a fuck about other than a massive pay packet.

Chelsea seem to have bought a few good players at a reasonable cost with Lampard at the helm..Sure Pep is an attraction, but I do not for one minute think we will be looking at Championship players once he goes. Frankly, it is unlikely that we will be looking at Alan Ball levels of management when he leaves either, so feel confident given our success over the last 10 years, whoever comes in will get good players, which believe it or not happened before Pep entered the frame.

As tolmie said when we hear the idea of city putting a bid for kane in the media thats the point he signs for us. Duncan castle mentioned our bid in the media. 'May be thats it.

When did tolmie ever say that? Are you confusing him with Ahsan who said it on Steve’s channel?

What he said was when you see news of levy rejecting our bid. Actual news, actual rejection, actual bid. Not some shitty tweet by shitty Castles.

Actual news of a bid will come in exactly that fashion. A tweet by a journalist saying "Spurs have rejected City's bid". You won't see Levy on the news talking about it and City won't put a statement on their website saying Spurs rejected our bid.

I'm pretty sure you know what I mean and doubt you think i'm actually expecting the bbc having levy on at 10pm.

Granted, it will be tweeted online. But if genuine or believable, it will get a lot more coverage than this. Sky sports, the main media cohort etc, will all claim it, instantly everywhere. This is a pretty feeble one. Doesn't even say when, or anything really. There could have been one last year. or January. I'm reading nothing into it.

EDIT. he didn't even tweet it btw. It is a 3rd party tweet of something he mentioned in a podcast in passing.
