Let seeHaaland or bust.
Starting with Jesus & another isn't enough up front next season.
Unless it's Kane?

I am going to buck the trend somewhat by stating that I think in a pure footballing sense, for the here and now, Kane is the better option. We know what we get with him, and I reckon it’s 30-40 goals a season, for 4 or 5 years. Problem is, with transfer fee + wages, it’s probably a £200m deal and after 5 years, that’s pretty much it. End of contract, with zero residual value. Plus, in the meantime, if he didn’t live up to expectations (unlikely), he is unsellable, given his age and no doubt astronomical wage. So we’d be stuck with him.Haaland or bust.

At the age Haaland is now, Kane had yet to score a top flight league goal and had been mainly warming the bench in the ChampionshipI am going to buck the trend somewhat by stating that I think in a pure footballing sense, for the here and now, Kane is the better option. Haaland on the other hand is a risk because it’s difficult to gauge just how good he is, or how good he will become. He looks a generational talent and given the numbers involved, he bloody well has to be. Currently, I don’t think he is the all-round player Kane is, and I haven’t seen enough of him to know whether he ever will be. However, the one thing he has massively in his favour over Kane is his age. If he becomes the player everyone thinks he will, he might only stay with us for the same 4 or 5 years we would get out of Kane anyway, but we would make money on selling him. Even if he somewhat flopped, we could still get a fair chunk of our money back selling him back on to the continent, like United did with Lukaku.
Id be happy with either of them, but I think the smart play is Haaland.
We will get haaland because We are man city we sign who we want!We hopefully have got someone in line to replace Kun and Haaland is clearly a target but I dont beleive that we will be clear favourites....Madrid, Chelsea both have a lot of pulling power.
However by announcing Kun leaving maybe its sending a message to Haaland that we are fully committed to him....something he said himself in a recent interview that he wants most from any team that come after him.
If its Kane I may feel a little sick.....he is not fit to lace Kuns boots no matter what the stats say and as a person he just comes across as a bit of a dick.
Lukaku's first touch isnt good enough for Pep
Except for the highlighted bit, very possible. It might actually be a good move for Delap anyway depending on Pep's thinking. No chance he goes with out buyback or sell-on though.Wouldn’t be surprised Dortmund don’t ask for Delap in any deal with no sell on or buy back option.. This lad if he scores plenty for them would also make them tens of millions in future,,,
