I must be using the wrong tactics/formation he is a 25 goal a season man for me lol

ps though he has missed about 7 pens, so is fitting right in with the real life team :)

Klopp is City manager now after Pep left. Klopps tactics are still hugely over powered on FM, so add Haaland to it and you’ve got a 70 goal striker.

Seen a few mates online that have Haaland banging in triple figures in a season.

They have a young kid called Lingard coming through. He’s not getting many chances, so should probably go out on loan
He's still a bit too young and raw. Give it a couple more years and he might be ready to step up to an elite club

£400k a week is around 4% of our revenues (and decreasing every year). If you think a 21 year old striker who has a legitimate chance to push us over the line in the Champion's League, win the club's first few ballon d'ors, and become one of the world's most marketable players along the way isn't worth that then I would question your basic reasoning abilities.
I really fucking hope the club sees it this way. I’ve not been particularly invested in our transfer rumours over the years. I’ve been fully trusting of the club’s strategy and been very ‘que sera’ about our dealings in full confidence that we’ll do what needs to be done. But this one has me completely invested. This is the one. 21 years old, a blue blooded world class phenomenon with the potential to catapult us to the next level for both footballing and commercial aspects. I really hope our pride doesn’t get in the way here. Just get it done.

I have never thought a transfer was so right and aligned for us, since Messi was in the summer, and that never happened.

However I am just hoping that the influence of Dad, and the hope that we can add some more silverware this season, will show team Haaland that we are really the only choice. The best manager in the world, no proven striker in our squad, the most successful EPL side in the past five years, and also the draw of La Liga is decreasing, as they don't really have the money. I can't see why he would want to go to PSG, just for footballing reasons, so the EPL is where he should be. I am just hoping that we can get this done quietly behind the scenes, and announce him as early as possible.

There may be more than one reason Perez is throwing his toys about the "oil" clubs.

That's a very naïve way of looking at it. You have to consider the possibility of blowing up your entire wage structure instead of counting only one player.

Also, according to the latest AS article it's not £400k, but £800k. Still basic reasoning?

The naive comment here is yours. First of all, starting from the end. How naive it is of you to believe at face value an As article like this? I read the same article and it speaks in contradictory terms within their own coverage including with regards to the release clause. The Madrid media is already pushing the club’s narrative after they sent the first message, which is that they won’t sign him. Now they’re blowing the figures. It’s how Bayern does it as well. It’s obvious that he isn’t going to making that weekly number anywhere. And astonishing that anyone would believe it.
And with regards to “blowing wage structure”, every time I read this here, I’m more convinced this is a concept mostly misunderstood. Anyone who thinks KdB is set to be forever #1, as midfielder, has it all the way wrong.

The difference between 400k and 385k is hardly blowing the wage structure. Which we have btw blown almost every year. And will blow it again. And it is a good thing, for everyone concerned. Including the players, who could well see it as a positive.

Poacher/Advaced forward and you have a killer in front of goal but because he hits balls first time & shoots with power, he’ll miss some but he got injured for 3 month at the start of a new season for me.
