Pep has this 'no striker' thing right i think. If you look at the few teams with a CF now, half their goals are ruled out by VAR..you can't have a man on the last defender, especially as Pep agrees with a lot of us that VAR is bent...Much 'safer' getting the ball to the by line and cutting back for any on coming midfielder , deeper lying forward. If VAR wasn't fixed then maybe there is an argument for a CF but not as it stands..

Surely Dortmund would want to keep him the rest of the season even more now. Missing out on knockout stages is one thing, missing out on qualifying after missing out on knockouts even worse.

Besides, he might simply want to see the season out. The way they are going in the league, it isn't untinkable they could have a chamce to pip Bayern to the title, and for him to win it before moving onto bigger things, why not stay 6 months and see.

This lad will be fully injury prone in the next few years. On top of the cost and circus that surrounds him.. We'll not be signing him.
Do we ever sign the players that have threads this big?

After watching today's game, I start to wonder if Haaland is the striker we need?
He is one of best players in the world but do you guys think he could do pressure and work his ass off like Jesus or Bernardo or it will be more like Neymar and Mbappe?

There's no way he could watch a replay of the PSG game and not want to be part of this. He would break every record going in our team. Even Messi was looking rueful at the end of the game looking like he knew he picked the wrong team to go to.

100% he can play the pressing game.

Yeah you're probably right. Suits Dortmund to maintain CL qualification and Haaland and Raiola for $$$ in the summer.
